2011 Shooting Programme Now Available Here

South Wansdyke Archers are a small and friendly growing club with a sociable atmosphere that encourages all archery disciplines, Longbow, Recurve or Compound. (Sorry No Crossbows!)

There is no upper age limit in archery and the lower age being at the coaches discretion after an assesment.

The Club runs six week beginners courses which are intended to get you up to a standard where you can shoot safely and enjoyably.

We aim to shoot every Saturday & Sunday afternoon.




Our shooting grounds are currently located at St Mary's school, Writhlington, Radstock.
