Beginners Course (6 Weeks)

We aim to run two courses during the year, one starting in early May and the other at the beginning of September.

Both courses will be run on Sunday mornings for a duration of six weeks.
The course places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Last summer our courses proved very popular, so if you would like to participate please contact us.

Have a Go

South Wansdyke Archers run 'Have-a-Go' days throughout the year at local Fetes and Country Fairs. Customers usually pay a small fee to shoot 5 arrows. This is a good introduction to archery and often we find customers having several go's. These days always have lots of club members on hand to help and offer advice.

Taster Sessions

For those people who would like to spend a bit more time shooting than can be offered on the 'Have-a-Go' days we also run 'Taster Sessions'. These involve 2+ hours shooting arrows with one of our Level One coaches going through various techniques.

These sessions make an ideal birthday gift or even a small corporate event and can also be a good idea before commiting to the full 6 week course.
